Andrew hails from Ann Arbor, MI and at age six, he began learning piano at the University of Michigan. He took lessons from Dr. Aya Hagelthorn, Leah Claiborne, Kelly Benson, and Claudio Espejo, and then transferred to the Faber Piano Institute, studying with Landon Baumgard and Dr. Veena Kulkarni-Rankin. He joined the Boychoir of Ann Arbor at the age of 9 and fell in love with choir. Andrew featured as a soprano soloist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's performance of The Snowman and with Chorus America/University of Michigan 2019 Conducting Symposium's performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah. Andrew was a member of the Skyline High School A Cappella Mixed Choir from 2022 to 2025 and Cantare TB Choir from 2021 to 2025, and sang with the A Cappella choir at the Michigan American Choral Directors Association conference in 2024. He also participated in Skyline Blues A Cappella, advancing with the group to the International Championship of High School A Cappella semifinals in 2023, 2024, and 2025. He also performed with Skyline Blues at the Michigan Music Conference Specialized Choral Hour in 2024 and at Briarcrest Christian School's Sparks Chapel. Andrew arranged several songs for the group, including Life Is A Highway (Tom Cochrane), Corners of the Earth (ODESZA, with co-arrangers Leif TenBrink and Leo Stone), and Happy to Be Sad (Ben Platt, with co-arranger and soloist Leo Stone). He most recently music directed Skyline High School Theatre's production of Hadestown: Teen Edition in May 2025, playing accordion and keys. Andrew was honored with the National School Choral Award and the Tri-M Master Musician Award in June 2025. He currently attends Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN), majoring in Professional Flight while participating in the Purdue Varsity Glee Club. He has performed with the Club on tour in northern Ohio and around campus. Andrew received the Glee Clubber of the Month award for September 2025. He is also a provisional music major and will begin studying music theory and composition in Spring 2026.
